Plot
This book was written as a follow-up to a 2005 book titled It's Not Easy to Be Green and contains references to the song Kermit "Bein 'Green". The memoir begins with the beginning of Kermit as one of 2,000 tadpoles; the first chapter of film retcons Kermit's Swamp Years in many ways with the concept of childhood birthday characters. The first part of this book tells the fictional story of how Muppet began. Kermit meets Jim Henson in Washington, D.C. and star in the first television program to feature characters, Sam and Friends . He moved to New York and mentioned the appearance of Rowlf the Dog on The Jimmy Dean Show, which contributed to Muppet's early success. Kermit got a job on Sesame Street , which leads to The Muppet Show and some featured movies. Each new job for Kermit is described as a personal achievement, and this description includes Kermit's initial interaction account with characters like Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and Gonzo. The second part of this book involves Kermit's lesson on self-help lessons. This last section includes many examples of life lessons from other Muppet characters, in addition to distractions from others who want to speak for themselves.
